mKaille designs is Michael’s studio for chainmaille and wire-wrapped jewellery. Every necklace, bracelet, earring, pendant and ring is made by hand, one ring at a time — then sent to you, or handed across the market table.
The craft
An old technique, worn a new way.
Chainmaille began as armour. Here, small rings of stainless steel, aluminum and copper are opened, linked through their neighbours and closed again by hand — woven into patterns that go back centuries, finished to be light and comfortable to wear.

Stones, wrapped by hand
Alongside chainmaille, Michael wraps natural stones and beads in silver-plated copper wire finished with a non-tarnish coating — pendants like the Tree of Life and Woven Elegance, delicate rings, earrings, and hammered copper bookmarks for readers.
